S-Stif opposition from a totally unexpected quarter almost overthrew Temple foot ball team today as it barely managed to remain in the undefeated column by eking out q 13-to-12 victory over Penn States roaring Nfttany Lions. Battered from gridiron to gridiron all season. the Lions unsheathed their claws and barred their teeth today. ripped out two touchd0wns, and held the vaunted Temple attack for much of the contest. A bewlldering forward passing Of fense, unloosed for the first time IN the current campaign, rushed Temple back time and again, and scored States two touchdowns, and only the failure of the Lions TO register either Of their points after touchdown kept them from victory or at least q deadlock.
