  HARVARD SMOTHERS LEHIGH BY SO TO 0 BY the Associated Press. CAMBRIDGE. Mass. November s. After a slow start. Harvard crushed Lehigh, SO to 0, here today in the Crimson’s fifth game and fourth VIC tory of the foot ball season. Har- Yards second and third string backs ran tired Lehigh team ragged in the second half after it had required the introduction of the Crimson’S first eleven to break the scoreleSs tie in the first. The weak Pennsylvania eleven played the Harvard reserves to q StandStill during the first period and part of the second after an early Crimson advance had been stopped inside the 5-yard line. Finally, Coach Horween sent in his regulars, and after a false start French and Guarnaccia produced a score. the latter racing Is yards over the goal line The Harvard substitutes came back into the game at the start of the third period and Immediately unleashed an attack which transformed a close Struegle into a rout. Lehigh never threatened the Grim sons goal line. It’s only substantial gains came from two short forwards late in the final period Its defense looked strong in the first half when Harvards attack suffered, but once the Crimson got going 1t showed little more than gameness in the face of overwhelming odds.
