MICHIGAN PLAYS NORTHWESTERN Wolverines Encounter Tough Opponent In Saturday Foe ANN ARBOR, Nov. 5.-(Special. J. Michigan’s clean-cut 13-O victory over Minnesota and Northwestern’s 17–7 win from Indiana have given ticket sales for the Wolverine-P Purple next Saturday decided impetus. It is question whether Captain Herb. Steger will get in the North western game. Steger, who played quar- ter for the first time in his entire football career, is not rounding into shape as rapidly as was hoped. He did not even appear in uniform for the Minnesota battle. Babcock, Michigan right tackle, who was injured at Minneapolis, is expected back at his old position Saturday. But Michigan is riding high. If the Wolverines can take another win Satur- day in spite of Ralph Baker and his two ex-Wolverine coaches, fans predict that the Michigan 1924 record will bear but a single blemish.
