  TENNESSEE WINS FROM MARYVILLE KNOXVILLE, Tenn, Oct. 1.-The University of Tennessee won from Maryville college here this afternoon bya score of 2S to 10. Maryville’s first score came in the first period, a place ment kick by Hamilton from the 35- yard line. Lowe worked a tumble on Tennessee’s kickoff and ran II yards for the first touchdown of the game. A 30-yard pass from Campbell to Brown paved the way for the second tonuchdown. An intercepted pass by Bone and 65-yard run to the 10-yard line made another possible. Both teams scored in the final period. Gamble made the touchdown for Maryville after consistent gains through the line had placed the visitors in position.
