MISS 4. & M. WHIPS [. s. U. TEAM, 14–7 Aggies Play Cautious, But Consistent Ball To Win AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, Miss, Dec. 1.-Playing a cautious, consist ent game against the wide open tac- tics of their opponents, the .Missis- sippi A. & M college eleven admin istered a IA to [ defeat to the Tigers from Louisiana State university in their annual clash on Scott field here today. Louisiana’s lone touchdown came in the second period on forward pass, Stevens to Miller, after Young had fumbled the Tiger backs punt on his own 20-yard line. Stevens kicked goal. All of the Tigers gains were due to the aerial attack. The Aggies’ touchdowns were the result of straight football. driving from the center field. In both in stances the backs carried the oval through the line behind perfect in terference and short passes, young to Lane, that were executed with speed and precision. Time and fate probably prevented the Aggies winning by larger score. They threatenedN seriously late in the second and fourth periods, when only short bucks were needed to push the pigskin across for touch downs. Each, time, however, fum- ble and the whistle cheated the Ma rooms and the gains were lost The lineup and summary Mississippi A. & M.--Lane left end; Stone, left tackle; l..
