  NO UPSETS MARK GAMES IN VALLEY But Oklahoma’s 24-to-7 Victory Over Kansas Was q Surprise KANSAS CIUY, Nov. 6.-There were no big upsets in the Missouri Valley football conference Saturday. Missouri, the Kansas Aggies, Okla homa and Ames coming through without being forced to extend themselves. The only approach to an upset was in the defeat OF Kansas by Ok lahoma. Most valley observers had Q xpe etc d the Norman team to win, but there were many who thought the score would be much closer. The final score was “a to Z. The tightes. game in the con ference was at st. Louis, whore Washington held Missouri scoreless until the last period. A sensational 75-yard run by Young, which resulted in a touch down In the third quarter, brought victory for Ames over Drake. The Aggies swamped Grinnell under n 81 to score. GTinneii 30 far has failed to win any of its conference games. Nebraska. the other conference member. was playing at Pittsburg Saturday. Next Saturday tho Corn huskers meet Kansas at Lincoln. The other conference games that day will be Ames vs. the Kansas Aggies at Ames and Oklahoma VS.. Missouri at Columbia. The standing OF the conference teams, including Saturdays games, follows:
