West Virginia Loses Thriller to Lehigh BETHLEHEM, Pa, Oct. ga thrilling forward pass. Hardy to Larkin. in which the latter ran IS yards, led to Lehigh defeating West Virginia today, 81 to IA. Cousins was pushed over for the winning touchdown. But prior to this there were plenty of thrills, also atrocious fumbling and infiicting of penalties, which blotted out scores or aided in them. Lehigh’s first score resuited from a tumble, and then again when Narducci fumbled, Bessinner iscooped up the ball for a score. The mountaineers pushed over their two touchdowns on straight football.
