  CENTRE RETAINS KENTUCKY TITLE Defeats University of Ken lucky by ~ to O. Special Despatch TO THE NEW York HERALD. LEXINGTON, KY. Nov. 13.--with the University of Kentucky hopelessly out classed. Centre College this afternoon took the State championship without trouble by a 40 TO score Centres eleven plunged through Kentucky at will and with comparatively little Interior ence. What interference there was was Intellectual. Weaver kicked Centres seven goals following touchdowns. Scoring began the first ten minutes OF play and the Centre players ranged over the field at will. 1t was an unusually clean game, only one man, Heber of kentucky. being injured and he returned to his place.
