  KENTUCKY BEATS CENTRE FIRST TIME IN g YEARS DANVILLE. KY. October 81 LPl.- University Of Kentucky defeated Cen tire. 16 to 0. in their annual gridiron battle here today. The victory marked the first for the in nine years. Cenrte having won the last eight battles. Mohoney. kentacky’s quarterback, was the star of the game. His 40 yard dash was the longest of the contest and enabled Kentucky to score their first touchdown while his drop kick added three points in the sec ond period. Line bucks by Phipps and Tracy gave Kentucky its second touchdown in the third quarter.
