  MICHIGAN DEFEATS OHIO STATE EASILY All Scoring Done in Final Quarter, When Victors Sc cured Two TouchdoWns. COLUMBUS. Ohio, November 30.-In a game which was score1ess until well into the fourth period Michigan defeated Ohio State here today, the first time these old rivals have met since 1912, by score of IA to 0. During the first three periods the game was slow and uninteresting. the slippery field being responsible for slow work on the part Of both teams. The fourth period opened with Ohio State having the ball on her own 81 yard line. After that State failed to gain. Rife punted to Knode. who returned to Michigan’s 3S-yard line. From here Steketee punted to Ohio States 3-yard line. AS Rife attempted to punt out from behind the goal Goetz broke through. blocked the kick and fell on the ball for a touchdown. After the kickoff the ball see-sawed back and forth in the middle of the field for a few minutes, and then. after an exchange of punts. Ohio State was penalized for unnecessary roughness, placing the ball on their 12-yard line. From here forward pass, Steketee to Dunno, counted the second touchdown. The lineup and summary:
