Tayven Jackson’s college path ran through Tennessee, Indiana and UCF before reaching North Texas. His football roots are in Greenwood, Indiana, at Center Grove High School.
Against Charlotte on October 10, Jackson completed his first 14 passes and finished with 349 passing yards and five touchdowns. The Mean Green won 50–10. One of those scores went 75 yards to Baron Tipton; another was a 34-yard throw to Justin Stevenson.
The familiar hometown is still part of a career that has crossed four campuses. In Denton, Jackson is giving that journey a new chapter.
