Missouri OWNS No. 8 Florida and runs them clear out of Columbia. 45–17

Both Missouri and Florida had big weeks last week which ended in opposite fates. A week after losing to Mississippi State, Missouri came home unfavored and handed Florida its first loss of the season, and it wasn’t close.

Florida had a big week last week, beating Ole Miss in the Swamp itself, but for Missouri this week… well, Florida never found an answer. Austin Simmons was nearly perfect, completing 23 of 30 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.

Florida came in 4–0 and ranked in the top 10. It leaves with real questions about whether it can win in the trenches against SEC defenses. Missouri, meanwhile, just showed it can beat anyone when Roberts and Simmons are rolling like this.
