  IN SPORTING CIRCLES. Brown Goes to Fall River and De- feats the Local Team. YALE DEFEATS WILLIAMS. The Score Was Sc to Graves Made Four Touchdowns-Mc -McCres and Bliss Each Made One-The Brown Freshmen Defeat the Friends School. The Brown football eleven played its second game of the season in Fall River against the local team yesterday. The Brown boys showed much better work than was exhibited In the game with Worcester Tech. last Saturday. The most marked improvement was behind the line. however, the half-backs’ block ing and running being special feature of the game.
