ATLANTA, Ca, Oct. so.-There were no ups on Southern football fields although vanderDllt’s defeat Of the University Of Tennessee by So to o; and Auburn’s victory over Georgia, 10 to o, caused surprise by reason of the size of the scores. Alabama won its annual game with Sewanee, 20 to TO- while Georgia Teech easily defeated the University of North Carolina, 81 to 8. Yirginia found no difficulty winning from the Virginia Military Institute, ~ to Q. Thurman’s punting being a big factor in the result.
