  SEWANEE WINS BY LONE TOUCHDOWN. Florida Loses Chance to Score on Fumble-Tigers Depend on Line Plunges Jacksonville. Fla, October l6.-The Sewanee eleven defeated the Univer- sity of Florida team to here to. day. Sewanee scored in the second quar- ter on touchdown and goal. Sewanee depended mostly upon line plunges with a fair degree of success. Florida had an excellent chance to score in the last quarter, carrying the ball to Sewanee’s 10-yard line. but lost the oval on a tumble.
