CAHALL IS STAR FOR LEHlCH TEAM His Work Alone Brings Eleven a Victory Over VillanOVa. South Bethlehem, Penn, Nov. Ia Lehigh in defeating Villanova to-day by score of 10 to 0 had to play the best she knew how. Villanova put up a surprisingly strong struggle and kept Lehigh scoreless for three periods, although Cahall in that time had two chances TO score field goals. His line failed to hold and, hurried in his tries, each effort went for naught. II was Billy Cahall, the clever lie. high halfbcck, who really beat Villa nova. He made nine out OF the ten points on field goal and touchdown. All this happened in the fourth period when Lehirh really got going. The pc riod started with Lehigh in possession Of the ball in the middle OF the field Cahall, “Ty’ Halsted, the Brooklyn star fullback, and Hoban made total Of twenty-five yards on line plunges Villanova here braced, so Cahall dropped back to the 35-yard line and kicked a pretty field goal, the angle being a difficult one. Shortly after this Forst ripped off q great twenty-three-yard run around Lehigh’s left end, and from the 40-yard line McGucken tried field goal, which dropped short.
