TIGER KICKED BY BR|CKLEYS VALUABLE TOE Harvard Drop-Kick Artist Scores Only Three Points in Princeton Game-Yale WOrsts Brown Cornell Trimmed PRINCETON, Nov s. Harvard shattered ancient football tradition here today by defeating Princeton on her own grounds by a score of 3 to 0. Credit for the victory goes in great part to Brickley, whose solitary goal field gave Harvard the three points which divided the victors and van ouished Brickley’s ability to score by kicking solved the football problem for the crimson which mud and rain other wise would have baffled. Finer points of football were absolutely lost be- cause of the muddy field. In the second period with the ball on Princeton’s twelve yard line, Harvard tried two line pIunges. The orange and black forwards held firm and it was evident, of the Crimson were to score, it must be by Brickley’s toe. Stepping back of the twenty yard line he care fully wiped the mud from his famous propelling boot; SOucy placed the ball and almost instantly it sailed across Princeton’s goal for the score which sent Harvard home a winner for the first time from JungletoWn. Princeton started with a rush. but the power to gain through the Crimson 1 line soon melted away. The Crimson grew stronger as the game drew to 2 1 close.
