Hamilton, N Y, Nov. s.-Starting practically the same team that defeated Yale a week ago, Colgate was held scoreless by Rochester University’s team this af’ ternoon during the first half. Colgate finally won by the score Of q TO 0. In the third quarter Colgate’s weight and smashing attack. which had been wearing down the light Rochester for wards, resulted in two touchdowns. Rochester’s rush line defence crumbled, and as the secondary defence took up the burden of stopping Colgate’s plunges they, too, were soon so tired they could offer little real resistance, and Colgate scored two more touchdowns.
