  MISSOURI WINS FROM OKLAHOMA Columbia. No. Oct. 1S.-Missouri barely won today from Oklahoma this afternoon by the score of, 20 to lin one of the most sensational gridiron contests ever staged here The speedy Sooner backfield played havoc with the Missouri ends time after time, and time after time were checked at the goal line. Missouri also resOrted to open playing and kept the roOterS cheering and groaning throughout. Missouri, by a series of end runs by Moore and line plunges by other backs, swept the SOOners back in the first seven minutes of play without losing the ball, and sending Moore through for the first touchdown of the game. Missouri had three men with bloody eyes from injuries. Once in the last few minutes of play, Geyer, a Sooner fuIlback, raced 20 yards and threatened MissOuris goal, but the Tigers held for downs and regained the ball at the final whistle. The game was started late because of the protest of he Missouri Athletic committee against Reeds, fullback. and Ambrister. captain and quarterback.
