The assembly was the real start ing point Of the instruction from the domination of the faculty and from the rigors of class work. There were enthusiastic speeches by the football fans and by the admirers Of the victorious team. At Salt Lake City the University OF Utah football team decisively de. feated the fast Colorado college team by the score of 43 to 0. At Laramie, Wyo., on field made slow by the storm OF last week, the University of Wyoming defeated the Nebraska State Normal at Chadron 25 to 0. At Seattle, Wash. the University oi Washington football team continued in its succession OF victories by in defeating the University Of Oregon 30 to 4.
