oBERLIN TRIMS CORNELL. Ithacan. Display hpt Little Fight and Lose, IL to o. Ithaca. n. Y. Oct 5.-Cornelrs foot ball reorganization suffered a severe set back this afternoon when oberlin defeated the Ithacans by the score OF 10 to O. one of the worst early season set backs a Cornell team has suffered in the last ten years. The Ithacans lacked pep; they displayed very little fight, and whatever football knowledge they have been taught they were powerless to bring into action to-day. Twice in the first half Cornell brought the ball within the 1o-yard line, once on a brilliant forward pass to Tyrich, and again on a series of line plays, but each time they lacked the punch to score The backs would hit the line. but the Cornell forwards opened no holes for them. McCutheson’s passing was ragged. Taber. O’Connor. and Fritz fumbled, and the whole team was disorganized.
