  CLOSE GRIDIRON BATTLE. Minnesota Had to Hustle to Beat Iowa Aggies, 5 to 0. MINNEAPOLIS. October 5.-The Mime sofa eleven today defeated Iowa State Agricultural College to 0. a 47-yard run off tackle in the third quarter by Hay ward, Minnesota’s right half, followed by two downs and later by Il field goal kicked ,hy Quarterback Tollefson, made three of Minnesota’s points. The two other points came when Capt. Hurst of the Ames team caught Tollefsons kick in the fourth down Of the fourth quarter OH Ames’ goal line and stepped back of the line. The officials credited Minnesota with a safety.
