  VANDERBILT, 1s TO 0. Beats Kentucky State in a Hard Game. NASHVILLE. Tenn, November Il Vanderbilt won strenuous game from Kentucky State here this afternoon by the score of IS to O. Although Wander bits goal was never in danger. it was with the utmost difficulty that the locals were able to do their scoring. The Ken lucky boys had a powerful defense and time and again held the fast Commodores for downs near the goal lines The grounds were exceedingly slippery. Vanderbilt’s first touchdown came six minutes after play started on a forward pass from Robins TO J.. Brown. who ran 20 yards for touchdown. In the third period Vanderbilt rushed the ball to Kentuclly’s 1-yard line, from which Ray Morrison skirted the end for Nanderbilt’s second touchdown. Zack Curtain, the man who made Vanderbilt 6 first three points at Michigan by a drop kick. kicked two field goals out of two attempts.
