Oct. T-NIaking the hrst touchdown in eight minutes George town University this afternoon walked away with Richmond College by a score OF TO to 0. Bryant. the husky full back OF Georgetown. made one the prettiest runs ever seen on the local gridiron, the Spiders continually baskinG in the dust he raised as he sailed for their line The timekeeperS watch stopped in the first period and as consequence 1t went tWenty-seven minutes instead of twelve as originally agreed upon, and to this Coach Honaker attributes the awful slaughter OF his team, as only one of the touchdowns made in that period would have counted had the time been COR rect The visitors outweghed the Spiders and showed their superiority in every play. In the early part of the first period Riley made a couple of star tackles, mailing his man far behind the line Of scrimmase. 1t was nip and tuck IN those first moments. The defense of the visitors was well night perfect, and the light lads from the Richmond school were unable to make any advance against their defense. The first quarter found the score % 70 D. Lutz, wbo played defensive quarter, was unable to stop him In the third period Georgetown scored sixteen more points. Gibbons made one or two changes in his line, but the resuit was the same. Fury, who took Cos tellos place, ran the length of the field and crossed the goal line with a tumbling field of pursuers behind him Magner, substituting for sitterding at quarter, ran 90 yards for another touchdown. Costello made but one goal from field out Of five attempts. Richmond College made first down but once, and this came in the last period, as a result Of a slight gain by Lutz and Ancarrow and a for ward pass from Taylor to Lutz. Fumbles were not frequent, but several were made and the visitors got all the best Of the breaks. One spot for the cOlIegians to point to is that on three different occasions they took the ball from Georgetown on downs, and on at least one other occasion the Blue and Gray were compelled to kick. The game was uninteresting to the spec tators, and it was a fearful slaughter for the Collegians. Lineup and summary:

ONLY 65 To @. Georgetown Football Team Wears Richmond College Eleven TO a (By the Associated Press.) Richmond. Oct. 21.-The Richmond College team was no match for the Georgetown eleven in the football game here today. The visitors simply ran mp and down the field with their opponents as the score OF 65 to 0 in their faVOr indicates. They were heavier and more experienced. The spiders fought yaliantly, but it was all 10 no purpose against superior skill and training. The question is now as TO how the University Of Virginia will fare at the hands of the Blue and Gray.
