When the game ended Huston was the only regular man le.. IN the line up. Dean early in the first period failed by inches at two tries from placement after a fair catch. In the second period he made one score for the Army from the 40-yard mark, with a goal from placement When the first period ended the Army had the ball on Rutgerss 10-ysrd line. Milburn scored a touchdown shortly after play was resumed. Keyes drop kicked a goal from the S5-yard mark, and the touchdown came after the Army had carried the ball half the length Of the field by line plays and end runs. Twice in the fourth period the visitors cot within striking distance of the Army goal A tumble gave them the ball on the Army’s 5o-yard mark. and two nicely worked forward passes put them on the S5-yard where Archibald failed at a drop kick A tumble gave Rutgers the BAH on the Army’s 40-yard mark and here White threw scare into the soldiers by getting around right end for ten yards and followed by making q first down with nice run around left 70 the Armys 15-yerd mark. where a forward pass was intercepted by Pritchard. October IA The Army defense proved too strong for Rutgers backs to penetrate. and the ca diets defeated the visitors by a score of IS to 0 today. Twice a tumble placed Rutgers within walking distance of the Army goal, but in one instance drop kick by Archibald went wrong. and in the other case a forward pass came to grief in Pritchard’s arms after the visit ors had made first down on the Army 15-yard line.
