    wIsCoNsIN’s SHOWING GOOD Lawrence College Defeated by Score of Fifteen to Nothing. MADISON, Wis. Oct. s.-wisconsin uni versity easily defeated Lawrence college yesterday in the opening football game by Is to o. Wisconsin appeared strong in the kicking department, using the on-side kick successfully and solving the for ward pass plays in way which satisfied the fans and coaches. The weather was perfect, but a slippery field frequently furnished a setback.
