Hart, Greer, and Don nelly made good impressions, and will be given plenty of opportunity from now on to show their class. Georgetown played fast, snappy foot ball, and, though there were a number of rough places in the machinery of the team, yet the first game gave indications of a powerful eleven Considering the heat, some OF the men, working only few days, did very well to re- 1nain in the game as long as they did. That Dave White will be terror on attack VS. seen by his sturdy line breaking. Time and again he would plow into the GunnerS’ forwards AMI fight his way ahead by sheer strength FuIy’s brilliant running in broken field proved troublesome to the Gum On defense, Vlyman, Wayne. Hart, and Greer were in the game all til, time, putting up stubborn fight against the numbering attack of the Gunncrs. During the first quarter Georgetown did not find itself, and wien the whistie blew neither side had scored, the 1unneis Iplu4iis the Ddil III lIl’lI oN II 45-yard line The Blue ana Gray forwards had been played to a stand still.
