DROP KANSAS AND MISSOURI. Iowa Wants to Meet Teams That They Can Beat. Iowa City, Ia. Nov. 30.-With the close of the present gridiron season the attention of the athletic authorities IS directed toward the formation of next years football schedule. Last season many believed that the start was made too late, and for that reason the Hawkeyes faced a most aggravating schedule this year. The outline which the board will try to follow probably is Grinnell, Drake, Ames, Purdue, Nebraska, northwestern and either Illinois or Wisconsin, in the order named. That Iowa will meet Drake, Ames and Ne braska is practically assured, and it IS exceedingly probable that North western and Purdue will be added to the list. 1t is probable that Missouri, Cornell end Kansas will be dropped from the Iowa list, owing to the ever increas- Ing demand from the Iowa students that the team play against conference teams.
