DARTMOUTH EVEN WITH PRINCETON. Score to 6-Blocked Punt Gives Han overians Score. Dartmouth was lucky to hold Prince ton to tie on Saturday at Princeton the visitors staving off defeat by block ing punt in the first few minutes of the second half and gaining possession of the ball on Princeton’s five yard line, where one plunge netted a touchdown and Tobins kick added the point that cancelled Old Nassaus two field goals kicked in the first half. Princetons characteristic weakness this season-inability to hold together in the line on kick formations-pre- vented the Tigers from rolling up a good score on the Hanoverians, who trimmed them last year, 10 to 6. Gun ningham kicked both of the field goals for Princeton from the 35 and 25 yard lines respectively, balancing touch- down by Ryan and Tobin’s goal kick In actual showing many football ex- perts who witnessed the contest de- clared that Princeton deserved victory and that the Tigers bonded to the hard work of the coaches better than at any time this year. A wreck on the Pennsylvania road made the Dartmouth eleven late in arrival and cut out many people from seeing the opening of the game.
