  WEST POINT WINS. Lehigh Goes Down to Defeat in First Game With Soldiers. WEST POINT, N. Y, October 23.-The Army defeated Lehigh today by score of 10 to o in the first foot ball game ever played between the two schools. West Points defense showed UP we’ll against the heaviest backf1eld it has faced this wear. For Lehigh the fierce attacks OF Fullback Cox and Halfback Gordon and the clever playing of Halfback Donaldson netted good gains. but Lehigh could not score For the Army, Fullback Surles and Halfback Dean each scored touch down after long open plays. Dean later kicked a goal from placement and Quarterbac ok Keyes placed a drop kick between the posts.
