  TULANE DEFEATS TEXAS UNIVERSITY Austin, Tex, November lS.-Tulane 2S Texas 15 The Louisanians came saw and conquered the Texans on Clarke field this afternoon in a game replete with interest. not because it was brilliantly played, but because the result was in doubt up to the very last. At the end of the first half two touchdowns by Tulane and touchdown and field goal by Texas made the score Il to 10 in favor of the former. In the second half Tulane bucked down the field for a touchdown; Texas soon did the same, both being assisted by well-worked forward passes. An on-side kick by Texas was caught by George of Tulane and he soon had gained the needed 40 yards to touch- down. still Texas did not lose heart and still entertained some hope of getting the needed nine points to win, when Dreyfus broke up forward pass and with hastily formed interference was down the field for 80 yards to touchdown.
