In the first half the Red and Blue clear ly outplayed the Indians, but in the sec ond period things were reversed with a vengeance when the Redskins had the Quakers on the run and should have scored one touchdown more than they did. Twenty-six thousand people, the larg- est crowd that ever witnessed Penn sylvania-Indian game completely filled the immense stadium and hundreds failed to gain admittance. All of the extra stands prepared for the ArmyNavy game had to be used. The Indians brought down a big delegation from Carlisle.

  TENNESSEE DEFEATS GEORGIA. Knoxville. Tenn, Oct. 24.-Tennes- see defeated the University of Geor- gia to-day 10 to 0. all scoring being done in the first half, when Captain Leach Tennessee, scored a touchdown and kicked goal from placement and also kicked a field goal. In the second half Tennessee’s coach took Captain Leach and several other regulars from the game. Leach’s with irawal being due to a bad knee. The bunting by Derrick. of Georgia. was a feature of the game. Tennessee play ed straight football. nothing new ne- ing sprung on account of the fact that Representatives of Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt. which Tennessee will meet in its next two games. were present to witness to-days game.
