SEVANEE FINDS MISSISSIPPI EASY Memphis, Tenn, October 26.--Sewanee’ s football team smothered the University of Mississippi today, scoring almost at will in two halves, originally scheduled at 20 minutes each, but with the last half altered to 15 minutes on account of a rainstorm Score, 65 to 0. Except In the second half, when Shipp, Faulkenberry and others that had gained much ground for the Middle Tennesseans had been sent to the side lines for rest, Mississippi made poor stand. With the best players out the defense of the Ox- ford lads seemed to improve and they gained their distance for the first time. They gained in all something less than 90 yards during the game. They held &c., vance both times in the second half, when substitutes were used by the moun- taineers. Skinny Shipp made four touchdowns. including the longest run of the game, a 65-yard dash with little interference dur ing the last 50 yards. He made four of his teams touchdowns. William Evans added 10 out of possible Il goals.
