The teams were evenly matched. For once comparative scores did not lie. as all of the two. colleges games have showed them less than touchdown apart. Clemson had the advantage of home grounds but Auburn had some thing on the yellow and whites in weight. Both teams appeared fit. There was little to choose between the teams, Neither could gain against the other with anything like regular Ity, although Clemson managed to pull across one touchdown on a long run on d forward pass and series of line ats tacks in the second half. Auburn’s score came in the first half, when Whitner punted well. into the Carolina territory Clemson was held for downs and the Auburn captain sue ceeded in droppins a goal from the field.
