    l. Carolina plays ClemsOn’s strong team at Chapel Hill on next Saturday. Philadelphia. November 7.-Harward today defeated the University of Pennsylvania in their annual football game by a score of Il to 10. Penn sylvania scored one touchdown in the first and one in the second, while Harvard scored twice in the opening half and once in the final half. Pennsylvania was Outplayed at all points. The score does not show the marked superiority of the Harvard eleven. Only twice during the entire game were the Quakers able to hold the Crimson eleven for downs. Penn sylvania’s defense was aWfully weak while their offense was smashed to pieces by the heavy crimson forwards before the plays would get fairly under way Eliminating the fumbes of Carl Marshall and the red and blue would never have been within striking distance of the Harvard goal while the latter’s total would have been at least thirty.
