  Manager Harry Eller, Of the wabash Team, Admits hat Such a Plan Is Now Being Considered. MORNING GAME IS PROPOSED BELIEVED GAME WOULD ATTRACT AN IMMENSE CROWD. Indiana Students Give Coach Horne Credit for Decisive Victory Over Illinois Team. indianapolis football enthusiasts may have a chance of seeing two representative college teams meet on the Washington Park gridiron this fall, as negotiations are now pending between the Wabash College team and the Notre Dame eleven to play a game before the end of the season on Thanksgiving day. Harry Eller, manager or the Wabash team, said last night that the matter of Wabash and Notre Dame playing In indianapolis had been under consideration for several days, and it is probable the managers Of the two teams may decide to play the game here. ct believe that a game between Wabash and Notre Dame, II played in indianapolis, would attract a large crowd. Our scheduled game with De Paw can be changed SO that we could play it before Thanks giving or on that day. Notre Dame is one of the strongest teams in the State, and while Wabash would hope for a victory. we would guarantee a close anne. THE Indianapolis high school teams play their annual game at Washington Park on Thanksgiving afternoon, but we have considered playing our game In the morning of that day. A morning game would be a big experiment, but with the showing tina Wabash has made and the game we played against the University Of Indianapolis, GER tainly displayed to the Indianapolis followers of the game that we are playing fast football, and a game with Notre Dame should attract an immense crowd. If played on Thanksgiving morning the game would be called at 10 o’clock, n this would give the people ample time to go to their homes and be on hand for the high school contest. I’VE are also considering playing the game in Indianapolis on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This probably would be the most feasible plan, as it would not interfere with the high school game on Thanksgiving. The one objection to play Ing the game on Saturday, Nov. q, how ever, would be the fact that we would then be compelled to play De PAW on Thanks giving. We would work hard to defeat Notre Dame, and should any of our men be crippled and We would be defeated by De Paw, the blow would be a terrible one. Our schedule is so arranged that the to meet Earlham, De Paw and Notre Dame. and should the schedule be changed ii might upset many of our plans. The question of playing a game in Indianapolis will be decided within the next two or three days.”
