  IOWA VARSITY WINS Grinnell Is Defeated by State ~” Team by Decisive Score. ,Grinnell, Iowa, Oct. 26.-The annual football game between the state uni Iyersity and Iowa college brought out a large crowd. Hopes on each side ran high, as comparative scores with other teams indicated that the contest would be close. Both teams were in good condition. The state university proved the better team and the first half closed 1 1 to- in their favor The second half proved little better for the Grinnell team, the score being at the close II to 0 in favor of the university. The game, tho close, showed the university all the way thru to be the better team. Crit fifth, quarter for Iowa, was the star player, and Benson for Grinnell played e h iron ~
