GEORGIA LOST AGAIN UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA SCORED IL POINTS IN SLOW GAME. KILLORIN’S GOOD WORK. SAVANNAH BOY DID VALIANT SERVICE FOR RED AND BLACK. Much Bad Feeling Displayed and Game Was MARRIED by Continuous Scrappins-Georgia Claimed I’m just Treatment at Hands of Ref cree GeOrgia’s Defense Was Weak, and Was Clearly OutcIass- ed by the South CaroIinians. Athens, Ga, Oct. 1.-THE game between Georgia and South Carolina University this afternoon on the uni versity campus was rather slow and devoid of interest, except the constant tendency to scrap. There was more or less bad feeling between the teams from start to finish and this was accentuated by the decisions of Referee Bennett of Virginia, which were not satisfactory to the Georgians. His decisions were roundly criticized by all people at the game, and had a great deal to do with the score of II to 0 which the Carolinians piled up against the Georgians. Georgia was playing good ball until the team became demoralized on ac- COulAI VI the DECISIONS against tnen1, and from then on to the finish it was a game of scrapping. Capt. Gunter of the Carolina team did some great work in bucking the line, while Kelly did the star playing on runs for the Carolinians. For Georgia, Ketron, Brown. Kilorin, and Moore did valiant services. When Georgia had the ball she did very well, but on the defensive play was rather weak. All told the game put up by Georgia this afternoon was an Improvement over that of last Saturday and shows that the boys are surely coming up to the standard of first-class players. The South Carolina team scored one touchdown in the first half on a blocked kick and added two additional touchdowns to her score in the second half. The University of Georgia team was outclassed by South Cardinals splendid team work. The average wages for a day of nine hours in the Bohemian coal mines are Sc cents
