NEBRASKA WINS EASILY. Takes First Collegiate Football Game From South Dakota Without Appreciable Opposition. Lincoln Oct. 5.-Before crowd of from 1900 to 1,500 Nebraska uni versity took the first collegiate game of football from South Dakota on the home grounds by score of % to 0, scoring four touchdowns and three goals. Coach Booth kept a lineup of the old war horses until the Wis itors’ line had been badly battered and then placed substitutes to finish the game and secure practice in a real battle. This accounts for Ne braska’s score being so low, but will be of value in future games when the substitutes are called upon to participate.
