  Virginia Pays Honor 10 Two Grid Greats Unfortunately, the two best football players will be on the sidelines tomorrow when Vir- GINA meets North Carolina at Charlottesville. Kickoff is at 1870 pm. Bill Dudley of Virginia and Charlie Justice of North Carolima will be honored as the all time stars of what is believed to be the South’s oldest continuous major college series. 1t will be the 9th meeting between the two Atlantic Coast Conference rivals. Dudley’s finest game was his finale against North Carolina in 1941 when he led the Cavaliers to a 28–⁠7 victory. Bullet Bill gained 1893 yards rusSing and passing, scored three times, passed for a fourth and booted four extra points, Big Day Recalled Justice led the Tar Heels to four straight victories over Virginia from 1916 10 1949. His peak performance came in l94S when he gained 246 yards, scored twice and passed for two touchdowns. Dudley was an All-America in 194l and Justice in both 1948 and 1949. Both are now successful businessmen. Coach Bill Elias expects Vir- GINA to make a good comeback after last weeks 40–⁠6 loss to South Carolina. No consolaton for Elias is the fact that North Carolina defeated the Gamecocks, 1914, three weeks ago, = Two Big Ten Trouncings Coach Jim Hickey, Tar Heels have a Us record, but two of the losses were to Ohio State aid and Michigan State 1886. The other victory was a 1914 decision over win less Wake Forest, which Vir- .ginia edged, 14–⁠12. The game shapes up as a battle between two top-flight passers, Gary Cuozzo Of Virginia and North Cardinals Junior Edge. Edge is second to Mary lands Dick Sinner in the ACC total offense race with GIT Yards Cuozzo is fourth with 765 and has played one less game. North Carolina is an eight point choice over the Cavaliers. The Tar Heels won last years game, 24–⁠0, at Chapel Hill. In fact, North Carolina has run all over Virginia in the last four years. The Tar Heel: have won all four games, three by shutouts, and have piled ur a 1923 point advantage.
