  Auburn Surprises Her Followers By Going Down Be- fore Georgia TIGERS WERE OUTPLAYEO AT EVERY POINT OF GAME Shut Out Was Saved by Webb’s Drop Kickfrom 35 Yard Line -Zao Smith Makes Longest Run of the Game. Atlanta, November 27.-(Special)- )-Geor- gia 12, Auburn 5, tells the unexpected re- suit of the Georgia–Auburn game at Pied mont park today. Before the game the odds were two to one on Auburn, but before five minutes play had been seen Georgia had made a touchdown and 1t was evident to every one of the vast crowd in the park that Auburn was clearly outclassed. At no time were the Alabama boys in the contest. The game was played al- most entirely in Auburn’s territory and the ball was never in Georgia territory except when kicked there by Auburn. Georgia outclassed Auburn in every point of the game. Fully 5000 people witnessed the game. Georgia made her twelve points in the first half on two touchdowns, Ridley kick ed goal both times. In the second half Georgia failed to score while Auburn made her five points on drop kick from the 85-yard line by Webb, which was easily the best individ- ual play of the game. On lne kick off after this play Elmer caught the ball and passed 1t to Zack Smil.., Auburn’s plucky quarter, who carried 1t to the center of the field, making the longest run of the game.
