  CORNELL PROVES VICTORIOUS Annihilates Lafayette Eleven by Score of Twenty-EiEht to Nothing. ITHACA, NJ. Y. Nov. 15.-In a grldiron battle far more evenly waged than the score Of Is TO 0 indicates Cornell this after noon defeated Lafayette. TIL first touchdown was made within four minutes. Guards back and other mass formations of the visitors were quickly broken up and they rarely made substantial gains. Cornells linemen plowed through Lafayette for long and consistent gains and the backs shot around the wings for advances ranging from three TO forty yards. The feature of the day was the brilliant game in line and everywhere else of Warner and the fine kicking of Brewster, who dropped two goals from the field.
