Louisiana. g: Mississippi. O. New Orleans. Nov. 8.-Louisiana State University defeated the University of Mississippi at Athletic Park today in one of the most stubbornly contested football games ever seen on a New Orleans grid iron, the score being 6 to 0. The game was characterized by fierce line plunging on both sides for small gains and I’M fortunate fumbling on the part of Mississipipi which lost her many yards. The game for the most part was in Mississippi’s territory and lack of timely kick ing contributed much to Mississippi’s defeat.
