  Northwestern Beats Badgers MADISON, Wis, Nov. 10 up Northwestern capitalized or the breaks provided by Wiscon. sin errors today to score its first Big Ten football victory of the season, 17–⁠7. 1t was the first win for North western over the Badgers since 1913 and lifted Northwestern out of the conference CELLAR spot held by Wisconsin. 1t also was Northwestern’s first conference victory since 1854. Tom Ringer recovered a loose ball in the end zone for the score after Wilmer Fowler carried to the goal line before the ball squirted out Of his hands. The Wildcats added three points on a 24-yard field goal by Bob McKiever after interceptlng a pass early in the fourth period, and got their final touchdown on a 44-yard run by Fowler on a reverse around end.
