  NC State JoIts Gumecocks as Christy Sturs RALEIGH. N. c., Nov. 10 Up, North Carolina State rammed 4S yards tor a fourth-quarter touchdown on the passing and running of Halfback Dick Christy to upset South Carolina, lat, today and kill any hopes the Gamecocks had of winning the Atlantic Coast Conference title. A partisan crowd of IL 900 saw Christy plunge over from the two with the winning touchdown with less than four minutes renaming. A 34-yard pass from Christy to End John Collar that carried to the seven set up the score. South Carolina scored its touchdown late in the second period when Don johnson RAM med over from the IL after End Julius Derrick had recovered a Wolfpack tumble on States 81.
