News This correspondent spent the past week end in Dallas, Texas. I saw a lot of my old friends and I also saw two corking good football games, Texas A and M beating Texas Christian 10 : 16 in a thriller at Fort Worth on Saturday afternoon and Southern Methodist pulverising Rice 20 to 0 in the Cotton Bowl on Saturday night. The two best football play ers that I saw were Hugh Pitts, TCU center and John Roach, SMU quarterback. I flew Frontier to Denver and Braniff to Dallas and both airlines were right on the ball with their hospitality. Both airlines have some efficient hostesses and I would like to men ton Miss Margery Bates of Bran if and Miss Virginia Booth of Frontier for orchids. : > i A little about the aviation stu alton in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Dallas wants service from either Eastern Airlines or United Airlines to compete with the exist ing E%astbound service of American Airlines. D~allasites would also like to have an International car rier land at Love Field, prefer ably a foreign carrier. Fort Worth wants every flight that lands in Dallas to also land at the new and spacious Anon Carter Field. w. T. Henderson of Fairview, winner of the Frontier Airline trip given away on Shopping Day in Sidney, took quick advantage of it and flew to Billings October II. = Passengers boarding Frontier Airlines this past week included Mr.. B. Green, Eldorado, Arkansas; Mrs. Ted Sorenson, Williston; Mr.. A. Johnson, Chicago; Red Davis, Billings; Mr.. B. johnson, Great City; Mr.. Darwin Lord, San Fran
