MIAMI, Oct. s.-Not quit, among the giants Is the Uni versity Of Miami. The upstart hurricanes were aiming high in tackling Notre Dame last night and they fell q little short Of matching the perennial strong boys from South Bend. Though far from disgraced BY their 14–0 defeat in the Orange Bowl, the Hurricanes found their line surprisingly outcharged and they lacked the imagination and the variety Of plays the Irish displayed. Too, there were toe many fumbles and other failures in the clutch, especially against an opponent Of Notre Danes stature. The biggest crowd in the his tory Of Southeastern football rs. 685-watched Notre Dame take a TO lead in the second period and double it in the third fooling even the Irish supporters by scoring both times on forward passes. Hornung TRIGGER Man In neither Of their two previous games against Southern Methodist and Indiana did the Irish show much of an aerial game, but they had one last night. Paul Hornung. 205-pound
