II R1.- Southern California yielded an opening touchdown to WASH ington State but settled, down to trounce the brash Cougars for a 5o-12 Pacific Coast Conference victory today. Before 35.051 fans on this sunny Afternoon. the Trojans looked awkward and inept for the first 5 minutes. Quarterback Bob Iverson Of Washington State reeled or a I2S-yard run to reach the Trojans q and he pushed over a moment later from ! yard out.
