  Shaw Leads Oregon Over Beavers, 33–⁠14 CORVALLIS, Oreg., Nov. 20.-- Versatile Quarterback George Shaw rolled UP another l2l yards from scrimmage here today, and conducted Oregon to its first victory in six years over traditional rival Oregon State, 33–⁠14. Shaw went into the game lead ing the Nation in total offense. He not only passed to three of Oregon’s five touchdowns, but also came up with the games key play. changing the course OF the game in the second quarter. His teammates took a bad mauling from the fired-up Staters In the first period and still were deep In trouble. in the second quarter until Shaw intercepted a pass and ran it back 38 yards to the Oregon State 48.
