  Florida State Defeats Furman Eleven, 1914 TALLAHASSEE. Fla, Nov. Is. Lee Corso’s hard running and Harry Massey’s sharp passing paced Florida State to a 1914 victory over Furman before Ia 600 homecoming fans today. Corso scored three touchdowns and Massey completed is Of % passes, 10 in the first half when Florida State built UP a 700 lead. Corso swept right end for i’ve yards and touchdown in the first quarter, bolted eight yards for another score in the third and caught a 10-yard pass from Mas sey and picked his way 16 yards for his third score in the final period.
